Integrative Counsellor and Couple Therapist

As an integrative counsellor, Tony works flexibly to support each individual's goals. He offers a safe and confidential space, for an authentic exploration of life's challenges. You’ll be listened to, accepted and respected, whatever issues you choose to bring.
It can be helpful to work through your thoughts and feelings with someone who seeks to understand us, someone who can offer effective reflection on our situation. Through this collaborative process, you may come to better understand the relationship of your past and present, and unhelpful patterns which can impact your choices and relationships - and so unlock your resources to bring about helpful change.
Tony draws from knowledge of humanistic, existential and psychodynamic therapies, as well as elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy (including mindfulness-based approaches). His own approach is informed by findings in recent psychological research and he has experience of working both with short-term (solution-focused) and longer-term therapy.
Before qualifying as a counsellor, Tony gained professional and volunteer experience of working to support emotional wellbeing and psychological health, including work with individuals diagnosed with a mental-health condition alongside issues around alcohol or substance-use.

Tony is a Registered Member of the BACP, holds a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and is also a certified couples and relationship therapist.
