with sex in their practice
Sex, and sexuality, are important aspects of human nature. Talking about these things can be difficult and embarrassing – but if ignored or discounted, a part of the client’s self may be missed.
Most trainings in counselling and therapy barely cover psychosexual issues in any depth (if at all).
So how do you approach or respond to sexual issues in your practice?
What if you have a client and (like at least 10 – 20 % of the population) they have a problem in their sexual life? (This could happen at any time during your work)
This one-day workshop will cover the most common sexual issues that your clients might bring. We will talk about some of their causes, complications, and treatments. There will be some practical points, some theoretical input, and some reflective work. As a result of feedback from previous workshops, there will be additional time devoted to case-study discussions.
